Since this is my first post, and indeed my first blog ever, I thought I would start with the first anime I ever watched. I remember waking up on Saturday mornings, and I mean early like 6am, to watch Teknoman on FOX. This show had it all, romance, drama, transformations, mecha and spider crabs, probably the best name for an enemy monster ever. The thing that attracted me to Teknoman was how different it was to all the other Saturday morning cartoons. Here were characters with depth and real emotion and a continuous story arc. This is was my first taste of anime, and I was hooked. Looking back at the series now I have to admit that it does look a little dated at times, however the key scenes still look amazing. If you are a fan of mecha anime you have to check out Teknoman/Tekkaman Blade. Just make sure you don't spend more then 30 minutes watching episodes....
